Number of Position to be filled: Two, one Data Analyst M&E and one Data Analyst VAM
ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT:
This vacancy is for two positions both based in Kinshasa reporting to the Head of M&E and Head of VAM respectively.
JOB PURPOSE:
The World Food Programme (WFP) in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) operates one of the largest and most complex humanitarian portfolios globally, addressing acute food insecurity, nutrition, and resilience-building. The Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) unit plays a critical role in ensuring evidence-based decision-making, accountability to affected populations, and alignment with corporate standards and donor requirements.
To strengthen data-driven programming, WFP DRC seeks a Data Analyst at the P2 level to enhance data management, visualization, and analytical capacity within the M&E team.
The Data Analyst will support the M&E team in managing large-scale datasets, ensuring data quality, and producing analysis that translate into actionable insights. The role will contribute to institutional learning, programme improvement, and donor reporting by transforming raw data into clear, credible, and motivating evidence.

1. Data systems management
2. Analysis and reporting
3. Overall support to M&E strategy and minimum monitoring requirements
4. Any other tasks as requested by supervisor
EXPECTED DELIVERABLES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: Advanced university degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Social Sciences, or related field.
Experience: Minimum three (3) years of relevant professional experience in data management, analysis, and visualization, preferably in humanitarian or development contexts. Experience with large dataset, digital data collection tools and dashboards development.
Technical Skills: Profiency in statisticial software (R, Python, Stata, SPSS), data visualization (Power BI, Tableau), Databases and SQL.
Language: English and French mandatory
